Recommendations for computer vocal microphones?

I'd like a vocal mic that won't loose quality when picking up relatively loud noise and that isn't too expensive. £30 max ($50)

There are certain advantages in a USB microphone, because all the low-level circuitry is in one place, shielded and powered separately from the computer.

Samson and SnowBall are both pretty good. They cost more than 30 lbs, but you might find one on EBay or your local Craigslist cheaper.
