Garageband Disappeared

GargageBand?

I was wondering about this - if you don't use a program for a while on your computer (Mac) does the program delete itself or something? Because I didn't use my GarageBand for a while, and I noticed it had this little gray question mark thing over it and I couldn't open it, and it eventually just disappeared and now I can't find it on my computer. How would I be able to get it back?

All the icons in the Dock are just aliases (or shortcuts ). Check the applications folder, if it is not there then use spotlight search to find it. If you didn't move it to trash then it should still be on your hard drive somewhere. When you do find it, drag the program to the dock again. A new alias will be created in the dock for it and everything will be as you had it. If the program was accidently moved somewhere else, it might also be a good idea to put it back in the applications folder first before you drag it to the dock.
