Behringer DDM4000 DJ Mixer Sampler Effects MIDI $493.9 The Behringer DDM4000 is a state-of-the-art 32-bit digital DJ mixer, packed to the brim with creative tools. The intuitive layout allows you to feel at home immediately. Editing, storing and retrieving the various settings is a piece of cake. You can combine your turntables and CD/MP3 player on the 4 stereo channels, each with fully programmable EQ and kill switches. Complete versatility is at your fingertips with fully programmable, beat-synced multi-FX modules, two high-precision BPM counters and a digital crossfader with total adjustment control. The excellent BPM-synchronized sampler with real-time pitch control, loop and reverse functions will get any crowd going. The Behringer DDM4000 has five separate channels. Channels 1-4 are the cross-fader assignable stereo channels, each with a phono and line input which you can assign at the touch of a button. All channels have a digital 3-band EQ, with up to 12dB boost and an endless cut or kill feature. Each channel can be listened to over the headphones using the PFL switches above the faders. Added to this, there is a separate mono microphone channel with two XLR inputs. The vocal channel has a "talk-over" feature, which reduces the volume on channels 1-4 so your voice can be easily heard. The microphone channel also has effects that can be quickly and easily activated. The most important function on any DJ mixer is the crossfader. The DDM4000's crossfader can be assigned to the channels 1-4 and has a 3 band kill EQ per side. The sensitivity can be separately adjusted and, should it ever become necessary, it can easily be replaced. The BPM-synchronized sampler is a very popular bonus feature. Using the sampler, you can record a part from any song and repeat it endlessly without missing a beat. Once the loop begins to play, you can change the CD and get going with a new track. The DDM4000's effects section includes the patented BPM technology. This enables the BPM from two different inputs to be read and displayed, and you can even playback synchronized echo effects. In addition, there are various bitcrusher, reverb, delay and pitch-shift effects which can be assigned to each channel. The Behringer DDM4000 is ideal for club owners who work together with numerous DJ's. The fader, effect, EQ and kill frequency settings can be saved for each user and accessed again at any time. This will save loads of setup time at your next event! You can even use the mixer as a MIDI controller to access DJ software on your PC! The faders and EQ controls can all be assigned with MIDI commands. |
